Landon Huff and Will Thomas at the GHSA State Tournament

Landon Huff and Will Thomas got a 15th place finish at the GHSA State Tournament Saturday at Lake Lanier.

Saturday the Morgan County High School bass fishing team competed in the GHSA state finals on Lake Lanier.

MCHS fielded three teams in the tournament with over 65 boats. Landon Huff and Will Thomas continued to perform well, bagging five fish weighing over 13 pounds on their way to a 15th place finish. Barrett Adams and Colby Brown finished in 47th place with three fish for over seven pounds. Jordan and Braydon Rhodes finished in 53rd position with two fish for over five pounds.

The next contest for the team is June 18 and 19 at Lake Eufala for the Georgia Bass Nation Trail State Classic.
