Yoketta "Keta" Gordon 1970 - 2021 Your Light Shines On! Yoketta Gordon, affectionately known as "Keta," retired to her eternal rest on Saturday, December 11, 2021. In celebration of her life, a Homegoing Jubilee was held on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Springfield Baptist Church, presided over by Emeritus Pastor W.J. Reid with Reverend Terry Dorsey as Eulogist; tears fell from Heaven itself at the joy of Keta's return home. Born on July 29, 1970, in Madison, GA, Yoketta was the second daughter of Shirley Gordon and the late Joe Gordon, Sr. To tenderly cherish her memory, Yoketta leaves her four children: Darrion Doffney, Desiree Doffney, Jayden Gordon, and Jordan Gordon; her siblings, Tammy (Antonio) Mullins, Joe Gordon, Jr., Shandel Moore, and Scottie Sims; her mother, Shirley Gordon; her special friend, Antonio Benford; her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, as well as countless other relatives and friends. Yoketta was preceded in death by her father, the late Joe Gordon, Sr. Professional arrangements and services were entrusted to Hurt's Funeral Home of Eatonton.
