Born in Madison, Georgia, as a young man he left a working dairy farm to attend medical school in Augusta. After graduation he became a physician specializing in general medicine. We will gather to celebrate his well-lived life on Sunday, August 22, at 4:00 PM at the Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, 1211 Jimmy Daniel Road, Watkinsville, GA. The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of memorial contributions to Briarwood Baptist Church, Watkinsville, GA.
