The Morgan County High School (MCHS) Drama Dogs are gearing up to take their one-act play on the road in two weeks after delivering two stellar performances at home last week.

The Drama Dogs performed “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” last Thursday and last Sunday for parents, students and the local community at Morgan County High School’s auditorium.

“This is a completely student-run production,” said Lenae Rose, theater director at MCHS, “and we are really proud of that.”

The MCHS cast delivered a lively performance of the 1967 musical comedy classic, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.” A beloved gang of characters graced the stage of MCHS’s auditorium last week. The Drama Dogs will hit the road later this month to take the show to competition challenges across the state.

The role of Charlie Brown was played by Charles McGregor. The role of Linus was played by Trey Palmer. Schroeder was played by John Duclos, Snoopy was played by Andrea Bailey. Lucy was played by Rowan Reid and Sally was played by Jillian Usry. Woodstock was played by Margaret Ann Bonnell, Peppermint Patty was played by Sora Rose, Violet was played by Rachel Harper, Frieda was played by Evelen McCanless, and Marcie was played by Mary Katherine Mathews. The Dance Captain was Katie Williams and the assistant director was Lauryn Cammarata.
