Last month, Stanton Home Furnishings held a “Dahlias for Donations” fundraiser at its Madison location to benefit the Humane Society of Morgan County.

The event raised $1,400 by selling arrangements created by “the Flower Doctor,” Patrick Greco, pulled from the grounds of the historic Honeymoon 1851 mansion.

“We had a great turnout at ‘Dahlias for Donations,’” said Jimmy Stanton, owner of Stanton Home Furnishings. “With 35 arrangements we raised $700 and the store matched this for a grand total of $1,400. It was a huge success for a cause we all feel passionately about at Stanton Home Furnishings and cannot wait to do it again.”
