Phyllis Hatcher, a Democratic candidate for Georgia’s District 10, is coming to Madison’s Town Park for an exclusive live interview that will be filmed this Sunday, Oct. 17 at 1 p.m.
Hatcher, a pastor and businesswoman, is pledging to work for infrastructure improvements, access to quality health care and high-quality opportunities for innovation. Her campaign focus is “Hatching Hope.”
Hatcher will face a challenger in the Democratic primary next year, Kimberly Reuter, a wife and mother of three hoping to improve the district for “growing families” by “advocating for access to healthcare, quality education, and better infrastructure investments.”
The film event this Sunday in Madison featuring an exclusive interview with Hatcher will be hosted by Smart Pathways, an Atlanta-based Immigration Consultant agency that educates and trains future immigration leaders. The interview will be conducted by Ada’Zane Williams-McConico.
“This film event will allow voters a front-row seat to meet Mrs. Hatcher as the host and interviewer of the event, Ada’Zane, asks very tough questions to challenge the candidate and vet her platform as the next Congresswoman of Georgia,” said a press release from Smart Pathways. “Ada’Zane will allow a select number of questions from the audience. Please join us for this live filmed event and we welcome the residents of the city of Madison, Morgan County, and the surrounding areas to come and meet the candidate.”
Madison Mayor Fred Perriman is encouraging local voters to attend the event to familiarize themselves with the candidates running for office.
“We are so pleased that our beautiful Town Park has been chosen for this film event. We welcome all statewide and federal candidates to visit us here in Madison,” said Perriman.
Smart Pathways praised Hatcher for her goals in Georgia should she be elected to office next year.
“[She is] a Georgia native with a commitment to people and community is rooted in her faith, values, and upbringing. Mrs. Hatcher will address tough issues facing our nation. She believes she has a better vision for Congressional District 10 and the state of Georgia. That embraces a better quality of life for all our residents, regardless of background or financial circumstance, and includes thriving business and employment opportunities.”
