Madison-Morgan Cultural Center and Madison Artists Guild are excited to issue a “Call for Artists” for an exhibition at MMCC featuring decorative art work by Madison Artists Guild members in a variety of forms and media.

The exhibition will be juried for awards and will include works for sale and for exhibition only. MAG POPS! opens at MMCC Nov. 12 with an evening reception to celebrate the artists and their work, and will continue at MMCC through January 2022.

There is no entry fee for this exhibition, but participating artists must be a current member of Madison Artists Guild, Inc. All mediums will be accepted for consideration, and up to two works of art per artist may be entered. Artwork must not exceed 48 by 48 inches.

Artists must complete the artist contract, artist and artwork information form, and attach an artwork information label to the back of their art. All necessary forms can be picked up at the Cultural Center and MAGallery, or requested by emailing Liz Moore at MMCC is open Tuesday — Saturday from 10 a.m. — 5 p.m. and is located at 434 S. Main Street, Madison. MAGallery is open Tuesday — Saturday from 11 a.m. — 5 p.m. and is located at 125 W.Jefferson Street, Madison.

All artwork being submitted must be delivered to the Cultural Center (434 S.Main Street, Madison) on Thursday, Oct. 28 or Friday, Oct. 29 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. For any questions or to arrange for an alternate drop off time, call the Center at 706-342-4743. All artwork must be received by Nov. 2.

Madison-Morgan Cultural Center and Madison Artists Guild, Inc. have a shared mission of promoting high-quality visual arts in its immediate community and the broader region through exhibitions and educational programming. Both are non-profit membership organizations and are excited about this shared opportunity.
