The soon-to-open organic food market, Community Roots Market, located on the square in downtown Madison at 292 Hancock St., held a pre-opening Market Day event this Saturday featuring live bluegrass music, produce from family-owned and Georgia-based Levity Farms, Kombucha products from Figment Craft Kombucha of Athens, Georgia-based Banner Butter products, T-shirts, Easter gifts and more. The new store is owned and operated by Madisonian Cindi Fetch and is preparing to open soon. The event drew crowds of locals and visitors throughout the day.
