A former Bojangles employee is wanted for questioning in the alleged theft of more than $11,000.
According to Madison Police Department reports, a Bojangles manager alleged on Aug. 18 that the employee had been using “manager discounts” to extract money from customer’s orders. Reports state that the employee allegedly rang the orders at full price, charged the customer full price, then applied the manager’s discount and pocketed the difference.
The manager provided multiple documents to investigators supporting the allegation, reports state. The manager told officers the the employee had been hired in April and that beginning in May, the discounts began to be applied. In total, reports state, the employee allegedly took $11,924.
