World Series champion Dansby Swanson will be meeting fans and signing autographs at Academy Sports in Kennesaw on Wednesday.

Swanson, the former Marietta High School standout and current shortstop for the recently crowned world champion Atlanta Braves, will be signing Academy-provided autograph cards while interacting with Braves fans. Swanson will only be signing the provided autograph cards and will not sign any outside items.

The store, which is at 1580 Crater Lake Drive, is in the shopping center at the corner of Barrett Parkway and Cobb Parkway, adjacent to Hobby Lobby. The autograph session is expected to last 90 minutes from 4:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Swanson helped lead the Braves to their first World Series championship in 26 years with the 4-2 win the best-of-seven series with the Houston Astros. For the season, he hit .249 with 28 home runs and 88 RBIs.
