Internet Praises Zoe Saldaña for Being the Only Actor to Hit This Major Box Office Milestone

'Avatar' and 'The Avengers' have set the actress up for success.

Zoe Saldaña is taking over the box office with an achievement worth celebrating. 

The 44-year-old actress has become the first to have four movies earn more than $2 billion. The glorious news comes after her latest movie, Avatar: The Way of Water, surpassed that amount at the worldwide box office, per Variety.

Saldaña's other three films to reach the major milestone are Avatar (2009), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019).

Now, fans are saluting "her power" with great applause online. 

"thats [sic] my girl," one tweeted.

"queen things," another celebrated. 

The actress isn't the only one to reach this goal as Avatar director James Cameron broke through the milestone barrier as the first director to have three films over $2 billion as well.

Cameron directed the first and second Avatar films and the fan favorite, Titanic, which will be re-released in 3D this Valentine's Day.

Saldaña portrays Neytiri in the Avatar films and is set to star in the franchise's third installment with a tentative release date of Dec. 20, 2024. 

There has also been confirmation of an Avatar 4 and 5 after the film's producer Jon Landau spoke about it in an interview with io9. The producer even revealed that Saldaña's character would visit earth. 

"I wasn't going to talk about it, but I've now subsequently heard that Jim has talked about it a little bit," Landau said. "In movie five, there is a section of the story where we go to Earth. And we go to it to open people's eyes, open Neytiri's eyes, to what exists on Earth."

During an interview with Women's Wear Daily, Saldaña gushed about how appreciative she is for all the opportunities that have come her way, even though there was a period in her life where she felt stuck.

“I’m very grateful for the opportunities that they [franchises] provided, from collaborating with amazing directors and getting to meet cast members that I consider friends and getting to play a role that fans, especially children, love. But it also meant that I felt artistically stuck in my craft of not being able to expand or grow or challenge myself by playing different sorts of genres and different roles. So this is something that I wanted to do for a very long time. And wrestling, too, with this pressure that society puts on women that your youth is gone as soon as you have children and you go into your 40s," she said.

“But today, now that I’m 44, I’ve been able to have these opportunities, and I took control over my aging and I took control over my voice and how I consider myself as a woman," she continued. "And I’m so happy that I’m able to collaborate with filmmakers and producers and people in this industry that want that for women, that want women to be ageless and who don’t fetishize women’s youth. And so it’s interesting. It’s really interesting.”
