Al Wallace of Clearwater, Florida lived a full life of 94 years.  He was raised in Rutledge and attended Rutledge Public Schools.

Al graduated from Marsh Business College, Atlanta, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force, WWII.  A banker, donut maker, and then purchasing agent with General Motors for 30 years.  Along with 54 years of marriage to wife Rose Marie (Moore) Wallace, Al beat the system with a long fruitful life.  Al raised his family on the Westside of Indianapolis, Indiana with the help of Chapel Rock Christian church and transferred to Plainfield Christian Church during retirement years while living in Avon, Indiana.  Al was also a member of Plainfield Masonic Lodge #653 for over 50 years, a member of Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite, and a member of the Murat Temple, Dramatic Cast.

Al is survived by his wife Rose Wallace of Clearwater, Florida, daughters Debbie (Loy) Beer of Phoenix, Arizona and Cindy (Wallace) Burger of Cincinnati, Ohio, and son Gregg Wallace of Houston, Texas.  He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six grandchildren.  Al is buried in the Rutledge, Ga. family plot along with parents Alva V. Wallace Sr. and Pearl (Tinley) Wallace and brother Morris T. Wallace.
