On December 14 a burglary complaint was filed at a Pierce Dairy Road location. According to reports, a woman reported that when she arrived home she noticed that someone had entered her house through a rear door and removed a television set and Christmas presents. An officer observed that several other valuable items were left in the house. The woman said the Christmas presents were primarily children’s toys and gift cards.

On December 15 a verbal dispute complaint was filed at a Centennial Road, Rutledge, location. According to reports, a woman stated that she had engaged in a verbal argument with a man . The woman said she currently had custody of the man but wanted to relinquish custody. The man said the argument started over a cigarette.

On December 14 a domestic violence report was filed at a Holstein Road, Buckhead, location. According to reports, a man stated that his ex-wife was at his house and was intoxicated and throwing items around the house. A deputy arrived and observed that items had been strewn around the house and that the woman appeared to be intoxicated. The man said he wanted the woman to leave. The deputy made contact with the woman’s daughter who told him that she did not want her mother at her house because of her behavior when she drinks. The deputy told the man that the woman would have to stay at the Holstein Road residence until she sobered up and other arrangements could be made.

On December 13 a burglary complaint was filed at a Flat Rock Road location. According to reports, a woman stated that someone had attempted to break into her house. Reports state that a deputy observed a broken knife stuck in a key hole on a door of the house and, in another location, a broken window. While entry was not gained, someone had cut themselves when breaking the window, reports state. A neighbor told the deputy that a male juvenile had come to her house and requested to use her phone. The juvenile told the neighbor he had cut himself with a knife. EMS was called and the juvenile was transported to Morgan Memorial Hospital where, after he received treatment, he was detained and transported to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.

On December 11 a terroristic threats and acts complaint was filed at a Swords Trail, Buckhead, location. According to reports, a woman stated that a 14-year-old male had sent a threatening Facebook message to her son. The woman’s son said that he knows the juvenile from school and that the juvenile was upset with him regarding a girl.

On December 11 a burglary complaint was filed at a Seven Islands Road location. According to reports, a woman stated that while she was running, someone entered her residence through a laundry room window and removed a .357 Magnum revolver.

On December 9 a simple battery complaint was filed at a Hawkins Avenue, Rutledge, location. According to reports, a woman stated that her intoxicated husband had slapped her in the face, threw beer on her and punched another man at the residence and grabbed the arm of his 3-year-old grandchild and lifted the child off the floor. The man had left the location when officers arrived.
