On March 22 Trenton Jerrod Hawk, 18, Madison, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass. According to reports, officers responded to a complaint call at a Centennial Road, Rutledge residence regarding someone throwing a brick through the back window of a vehicle.

When officers arrived, reports state, they said a woman told them that someone had thrown the brick through the back window of her vehicle. Hawk told officers that he had picked up a man with dread locks and had dropped him off at the Centennial Church parking lot.

Hawk later recanted his statement and told the officers that he had observed the woman with another man and had become enraged and had thrown the brick. The woman requested that a criminal trespass warrant be issued for Hawk.

On March 22 Billy Mack Tindol, 56, Madison, was arrested and charged with simple battery and terroristic threats. According to reports, Tindol allegedly struck a woman in the back of the head at a Brownwood Road residence in front of the woman’s daughter. Reports state that Tindol appeared to be intoxicated and that during the booking process he was deemed too intoxicated to process at the jail and was then transported to Morgan Memorial Hospital.

On March 20 a 14-year-old male student was arrested at Morgan County Middle School and charged with disruption with the operation of a public school and obstruction. According to reports, the student left a classroom when he was given a test. The student then sat at a picnic table outside the classroom areas and refused to speak or cooperate with teachers, the school resource officer or administrators regarding his behavior.

He then attempted to walk back to the classroom area after being told not to and was stopped by the school resource officer. The student continued to refused to comply with commands and, reports, state physically attempted to walk down the hall towards the class.

When officers attempted to escort the student from the building the student allegedly resisted. Handcuffs were then placed on the student and he was placed in a patrol car. On March 21 a 14-year-old male student at Morgan County High School was arrested and charged with disruption with a public school.

According to reports, the student allegedly left in school suspension and could not be located. The student was located and was told to wait at the front office. The student then allegedly left the front office and was later located by a school resource officer. Reports state that the student has had several altercations at the school. Administrators requested that charges be filed.

On March 21 Samuel Deqwan Barnette, 19, Lugoff, S.C. was arrested and charged with theft by receiving stolen property. According to reports, Barnette was stopped on Interstate 20 for lack of a license plate. Consequent to the stop, a deputy located a 9mm pistol in the vehicle that had been reported stolen from Kershaw County, S.C.

On March 21 a theft by taking and burglary complaint was filed at a Riden Road location. According to reports, a man stated that someone had removed a pressure washer and a Honda generator was taken.

On March 20 a criminal trespass complaint was filed at Prospect Road location. According to reports, a woman stated that after an insurance adjustor had been on the roof of her house, he showed her a photo of a bullet lodged in a roof shingle. On March 20 a criminal trespass complaint was filed at a Swords Trail location. According to reports, a man reported that someone had knocked over four mailboxes on Swords Trail, Buckhead.

On March 19 a stalking complaint was filed at a Godfrey Road location. According to reports, a man alleged that his brother had been driving by his house in an aggressive manner. Reports state that the complainant is afraid that the brother may harm or kill him.

On March 19 an electronically transmitting images to a juvenile complaint was filed at a Penor Street location. According to reports, a woman said a 12-year-old male allegedly sent photos to her daughter’s phone. The woman said the male had attached her daughter’s head to nude photos to give the appearance that her daughter was nude.

The woman said the male had also allegedly sent the photos to other classmates of her daughter. On March 18 a criminal trespass complaint was filed at a Fairplay Road location. According to reports, a woman said someone had attempted to force entry into her house.

The woman showed a deputy pry marks made around a deadbolt lock. The woman said on March 15 she had observed a grey Chevrolet Impala pull into her drive way and then leave quickly when the driver saw her standing by the corner of her house.
