Imagene Thorson Lively passed away Sunday. Mrs. Lively was born in Madison, Ala., the daughter of the late Roy William Thorson and Bertha Elizabeth Trietsch Thorson. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Mary Emma Thorson McCrary; and brothers, Trietsch Thorson and Wayne Thorson. Imagene and her husband, Frank Pruitt Lively, were married on July 2, 1949. They enjoyed a happy marriage for 64 years.

Mrs. Lively grew up in the Thorson home on Maple Street in Madison. She attended Madison School from first grade through 12th, graduating in 1943. She was long employed at W. L. Halsey Grocery Company, and finally at Redstone Arsenal in the payroll department until 1958. She enjoyed her career tremendously and spoke of it often, but her greatest accomplishment was being a wife and mother. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Frank; daughters, Laura Lively Charlton and husband, David Lynn Charlton, of Huntsville, and Dianne Lively Yost and husband, Patrick Clark Yost, of Madison, Ga.; and grandchildren, Tyler Lively Charlton and John Cary Charlton of Huntsville, and Zachary Everett Yost, Grace Elizabeth Yost, and Harrison Frank Yost, of Madison, Ga.

Heartfelt thanks are sent to the staff at Harbor Chase Memory Care, and Fairview at Redstone Village for the loving care given to Mrs. Lively in her final years.
