The Morgan County Grand Jury met last week during its December session. The following persons were indicted on criminal charges:
Gregory Andrew Gordon, 27, Waynesboro, one count possession of marijuana. According to indictments, Gordon was arrested on October 15, 2013 by Georgia State Patrol Trooper Ray Malone after he alleged had 438 grams of marijuana in his possession.
Tavarius Lamar Jones, 23, Greenville, S.C., one count fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, two counts speeding, one count driving while license suspended, one count reckless driving, one count passing in a no passing zone. According to indictments, Jones was arrested on November 7 by GSP Trooper Matt Moorman after he allegedly failed to stop during a traffic stop and operated a vehicle at approximately 120 mph in a 70 mph zone.
Antonio Jones, 32, Florence, S.C. one count trafficking in cocaine, one count possession of cocaine, one count possession of drug related objects. Also indicted was Kathy E. Williams, 49, Florence, S.C. one count trafficking in cocaine. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Jones and Williams were both arrested on September 4 by GSP Trooper Matt Moorman on Interstate 20 exit 113. Moorman allegedly located 300 grams of cocaine in a center console the couple’s vehicle and another 20 grams of cocaine in the groin area of Jones.
Derrick Ramond Waller, 38, Bostwick two counts family violence and one count simple battery. According to indictments and warrants, Waller  was arrested on September 1 by Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Justin Hooper after he allegedly threw a chair at a woman, choked her and then grabbed another woman, who was attempting to aid the first victim, by the arm and threw her across a room.
Johnny Foster, 23, Eatonton, one count possession of marijuana. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Foster was arrested October by GSP Trooper Ray Malone and allegedly had 1.56 pounds of marijuana in his possession.
Steven Travis McKinnon, 33, Trenton, S.C. one count possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, two counts possession of drug related objects, one count giving false name to a law enforcement officer, one count giving false date of birth to a law enforcement officer, one count driving while license suspended. Also indicted on the same incident was Chasity Dawn Wood, 37, Aiken, S.C. one count possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, two counts possession of drug related objects. According to indictments and arrest warrants, McKinnnon and Wood were both arrested on September 17 by GSP Trooper Matt Moorman and allegedly had 20 grams of methamphetamine, digital scales and clear plastic baggies in their possession.
Lamar Alexander George, no age, Lithonia, nine counts forgery of a financial transaction  card, eight counts criminal attempt to commit financial transaction card fraud. According to indictments, George was arrested on March 21 by GSP Trooper Blake Swicord.
Alvin Peaks, Jr. 31, Greensboro, one count trafficking in cocaine, one count possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, one misdemeanor count possession of marijuana. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Peaks was arrested on November 19 by GSP Trooper Matt Moorman and allegedly had 30 grams of crack cocaine in his possession.
Michelle Renee Mathis, 34, Columbus, Ohio, one count terroristic threats and acts, one count simple battery. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Mathis was arrested on September 12 by Madison Police Department Officer Andy Koth after she allegedly threatened to murder a woman and spat in the woman’s face.
Jonie Chapman, 36, Madison, one count possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, one count possession of methamphetamine, one count hindering the apprehension of a criminal. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Chapman was arrested on November 18 by Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Chad Lanier after officers were attempting to make the arrest of a wanted fugitive. Warrants allege that Chapman picked up the man on Interstate 20 and then stopped as officers performed a traffic stop on the vehicle she was driving. The wanted man fled the area after the stop and, warrants allege, officers located 10 separate bags of suspected methamphetamine in Chapman’s purse.
Caimien Jamal Hamilton, 19, Snellville, and Erice Jermain Williams, 18, Madison one count burglary in the first degree. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Hamilton and Williams were arrested on August 26 after they allegedly entered a Sandy Creek Road residence and took a camera, a drill set  and a computer. Some of the items were later recovered at area pawn shops, reports state.
Richard Dannie Stewart, 36, Madison, one count terroristic threats and acts. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Stewart was arrested on November 1 by Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Corp. Lisa Reynolds after he allegedly pointed a finger in  another man’s face and told the man he would slice off the man’s face. In a separate indictment, Stewart was also indicted on one count of false statements and writings, two counts reckless conduct and one count possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. In that indictment, Stewart was arrested on November 3 after he allegedly fired a shotgun several times in the air at a man who had entered Stewart’s property and was spinning his truck wheels on Stewart’s property. Stewart, an indictment states, was convicted in Newton County in 2004 of armed robbery and aggravated assault. The warrant also states that he told officers that his father had fired the shotgun at the time of the incident. In a related indictment, Vance Tallon, 44, Madison, was indicted on three counts aggravated assault. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Tallon was allegedly the man driving the vehicle onto Stewart’s property. Warrants state that Tallon entered the property and shot and struck three vehicles on Stewart’s property with a pistol.
Ruby Elaine Mancini, 36, Madison, two counts false statements and writings. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Mancini was arrested on November 5 by Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Corp. Lisa Reynolds after she allegedly told officers that while jogging on Spears Road she had been kidnapped by a man and held against her will. Warrants allege that she freely went with the man and spent the day with the man and that, at one point, another man asked her to leave the residence and she told him she had nowhere to go. In a separate indictment, Mancini was indicted on one count burglary in the first degree and one count aggravated stalking. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Mancini was arrested on November 5 by Reynolds after she allegedly entered a woman’s residence on Confederate Road and took two boxes of food and prescription medication.
Bradley Jay Watkins, 31, Madison, two counts burglary, one count theft by receiving stolen property. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Watkins, was arrested on June 14 by Morgan County Sheriffs Office Corp. Lisa Reynolds after he allegedly entered a Seven Islands Road residence and removed more than $6,000 worth of items. Watkins was located at a camper on Pierce Dairy Road where a stolen John Deere Gator was also discovered.
Michael Jason Beatenbugh, 32, Buckhead, one count burglary in the second degree. In a related indictment, David Nelson Hutchinson, no age, no address given, one count burglary in the second degree and one count theft by taking. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Beatenbugh and Hutchinson were arrested on August 28 after, sometime in February, they allegedly entered a Seven Islands Road automobile repair shop and that Hutchinson acting alone took a man’s steel door.
Darian Monae Brown, 19, Covington, one count possession of methamphetamine. Andre Heard, 35, one count possession of methamphetamine, one count possession of cocaine. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Brown and Heard were both arrested on October 24 by Madison Police Department Corp. Phillip Malcom after a vehicle they were occupants in was stopped in relation to an armed robbery. After the stop, reports state, officers allegedly located cocaine and methamphetamine in the vehicle.
Norris Deon Evans, 29, Madison, one count armed robbery. Brandon Lydell Gibbs, 29, Madison one count armed robbery. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Evans and Gibbs were arrested by Madison Police Department Corp. Phillip Malcom after they allegedly used a hand gun to rob a man of $40 and a Remington 770 rifle at the Budget Inn, Eatonton Road.
Brandon Patrick Ford, 26, Madison, one count possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Ford was arrested on October 5 by Madison Police Department Corp. Phillip Malcom after Malcom allegedly located a loaded .22 pistol in a vehicle Ford was driving.
Jake Fitzgerald Simmons, 36, Eatonton, one count aggravated assault, one count tampering with evidence, one count reckless conduct, one count discharging a gun near a public street. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Simmons was arrested on October 28 by Madison Police Department Officer Will Brewer after he allegedly fired several shots at a woman as she was leaving an Orchard Grove apartment. Warrants allege that Simmons then threw the weapon in Lake Oconee.
Rosemary Kim Neugebauer, 49, Rutledge, two counts identity fraud, two counts financial transaction card fraud. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Neugebauer was arrested on August 23 by Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Mark Williams after she allegedly used her husband’s personal information to open both a credit card account and a Dish Network television service account.
Jimmy Wade Harvey, 38, Madison, two counts burglary in the second degree and two counts theft by taking. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Harvey was arrested on August 16 by Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Mark Williams after he alleged entered a residence on Lower Apalachee Road and removed an air compressor, garden tools, an antique radio and space heater.
Quwan Kendrick, 22, Atlanta, one count theft by taking, one count criminal trespass. Nardkerria Enise Milling, 19, Atlanta, one count theft by taking, one count criminal trespass. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Kendrick and Milling were both arrested on October 12 after they allegedly pulled into the driveway of a Walter Sheppard Road, Rutledge, residence and Kendrick allegedly took a 2009 Honda CRV.
Brent Baxter, 38, Madison, three counts fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, one count improper U-turn, one count failure to obey an officer directing traffic, one count driving while license suspended, one count driving too fast for conditions. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Baxter was arrested on October 8 by Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Deputy James Cason after he attempted to avoid a traffic road block and then later led officers on a brief chase on Interstate 20.
Stephanie Mason, 30, Madison, one count  sale of marijuana, one count use of a communication facility in committing or facilitating commission of act constituting a felony. Mathew Minton, 33, Madison, one count sale of marijuana. Sarah Minton, 34, Madison, one count  sale of marijuana, one count use of a communication facility in committing or facilitating commission of act constituting a felony. According to indictments and arrest warrants, all three were arrested on October 10 after they allegedly used a telephone to coordinate the sale of $100 worth of marijuana.
Pamela S. Butler, 42, Madison one count sale of cocaine. James Reid, 47, Madison, one count sale of cocaine. Jeremy J. Shaffer, 36, Madison, two counts sale of cocaine. According to indictments and arrest warrants, the three were arrested on November 2 after they allegedly, on February 12, sold crack cocaine to an undercover police officer in the parking lot of EZ Bottle Shop, on West Washington Street.
Quentiin A. Harris, 43, Ocala Fla. 10 counts theft by taking. Oland J. Stevenson, 41, Peachtree City, eight counts theft by taking. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Harris and Stevenson were arrested on July 26 by Madison Police Department Det. Wes Thompson after they allegedly tampered with a fuel pumping device at Pilot Travel Centers, Eatonton Road and took approximately 2,000 gallons of fuel without appropriate payment.
Christina Diane Stafford, 27, Madison, one count arson in the first degree. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Stafford was arrested on August 21 by Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Chad Lanier after she allegedly set fire to a man’s camper trailer at Country Boy’s RV Park, Eatonton Road.
Christopher Baines, aka Christopher George Bartholomew, 48, Madison, one count financial transaction card fraud, one count theft by taking, one count influencing a witness. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Baines, aka Bartholomew, conducted a fraudulent financial transaction card transaction with a woman and, later allegedly threatened the woman with the threat of injury.
David Gregory Moss, 48, Bishop, one family violence battery. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Moss was arrested on November 18 by Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Conrad Easley after he allegedly struck a woman in the face with his fists.
Kenneth James Harp, 44, Buckhead, one count possession of cocaine, one count habitual violator, one count driving while license suspended, two counts driving under the influence. According to indictments and arrest warrants, Harp was arrested on September 7 by Morgan County Sheriffs Office Deputy Conrad Easley after Easley observed Harp on Buckhead Highway. During a traffic stop,
Easley allegedly found crack cocaine in the vehicle.
