• Steffen Thomas in the Extreme:  Works Large and Small.  This temporary exhibit has been installed for the 2013 holiday season and will remain on view through Valentine’s Day, 2014.. This exhibit features many works that have never been displayed in public.  Primarily figural in nature, these visual treasures range widely in medium and technique and demonstrate Steffen Thomas’s extreme virtuosity with a wide variety of materials, techniques, and expressions.  The Steffen Thomas Museum of Art is located at 4200 Bethany Road, Buckhead, GA  30625 and is open Tuesday – Saturday, 11:00 AM till 4:00 PM. •St. Paul AME will celebrate its annual Family and Friends Day. Service will begin at 8 am. The speaker for the occasion will be the dynamic 14 year old, Rev. Christopher Aharon McClain of Monticello,GA. Brunch will be served immediately following the service.

•First Sermon at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church at 2 p.m., Lonnie Brown, the son of The Rev. G.C. Brown, will have his first sermon. Dinner will be served following the service.
