Fred Bright, district attorney, Ocmulgee Judicial District, was recently named “District Attorney of the Year” by the District Attorneys Association of Georgia.
Bright, who has served as the Ocmulgee Judicial District Attorney for the past 19 years, was honored by the association at its summer meeting. The Ocmulgee Judicial District includes Morgan County and seven other counties.
“It was really an honor and a humbling experience,” said Bright. During the ceremony, Bright requested that all 13 of the assistant district attorneys in the Ocmulgee District stand and be recognized.
