“God’s sovereignty is first painful, then slowly powerful, and over much time seen to be profitable. It is to be studied with great sensitivity for the experience of others and deep reverence for the One who controls the outcomes of every matter in the universe.” – James McDonald    AMEN!

“Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” James 1:2-4

“Those who know Your name will trust in You, for You, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.” Psalm 9:10

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

God is in control. He is sovereign… even in our pain, even in our troubles. Through it all, His love is transforming us, perfecting us, completing us.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” Proverbs 3:5-6

AMEN! Trust Him!

Evangelist Jon Reed

We’d like to invite you to a one day event happening on Sunday, July 28.   Evangelist Jon Reed, will be doing a One Day Revival.  Jon will be preaching at both the 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. services.  You don’t want to miss it!

Jon founded Focused Evangelism in the summer of 2004.  The ministry was birthed out of a desire to ignite the fires of evangelism within the context of the local church, as well as encourage the existing leadership in the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

His primary focus is bringing revival back into the life of churches.  In a world that continues to distort the message of the cross, it is Jon’s prayer that God will enable him to encourage churches to return to biblical evangelism, by equipping the saints to boldly share the gospel message to this lost and dying world.  This is going to be a great Sunday for you to come and bring your friends.  We look forward to seeing you there!
