A good attendance was present for the morning worship service. We still have some out due to sickness, jobs etc. Our prayers continue to be with each of these. We are thankful for all our visitors that come worship with us week after week. We pray you all will be uplifted and blessed in a special way for coming and know you are welcome to come anytime we have service. It is our blessing to have you with us. The choir’s special was, “It is well with my Soul.” Other special music was, “Peace! Be Still!” by James Butler. Bro. Ron’s message, “Motivation,” Galatians 2:20 and other scriptures. Paul said it was through reading the scriptures that he came to realize that he could never find God’s favor by trying and failing to obey the laws. Finally he realized that acceptance with God comes by believing in Christ. Paul said, “I have been crucified with Christ Jesus was willing to go to the cross for us; we died with Him and was risen with Him.” The church has lost its identity in the world, we have forgotten who we are. Paul said, “It is no longer I that lives, but Christ living in me.” We have been bought with a price, we belong to Jesus. We’re justified by faith, peace with God through Lord Jesus Christ, anything except the death, burial and resurrection is wrong. Paul preached the gospel, the way, the truth and the life. If you get to Heaven you have to go through Jesus. Our inspiration is in the Son of God, our motivation is know that Christ did for us and the love of Christ constrains us.

Sunday night at 6 p.m. attendance was good. Bro. Ron took scripture from II Peter 3:10-8 and many other scriptures. Peter wrote to the people dealing with false teachers and prophets and reminding them of scoffers and mockers among them.

Kindness

Gentle words fall lightly, but they have great weight.

One of the strongest of all virtues is kindness.

When you are good to others you are best to yourself.

Charity gives itself rich; covetousness hoards itself poor.

Kindness is like snow it beautified everything it covers.

Remember the kindness of others; forget your own.

A little oil of courteous will save a lot of friction.

We cannot heal the wound we do not feel.

Do unto others as if you were others.

Men are great only when they are kind,

The milk of human kindness furnished the cream of society.

Kindness pays most when you don’t do it for pay.

Always try to be a little kinder than necessary.

A kind word can cool a hot head.

Kind words never wear out the tongue.

Men with clenched fists cannot shake hands.

Be kind today because there may be no tomorrow.

Kindness is the oil that takes the friction out of life.

Nothing costs so little and goes so far as Christian courtesy.

Kind words are music to a broken heart.

The best way to remember people is in prayer.

Pray for our school system.
