According to Cooper, art-making at times is like a journey, one that can take you on many paths.  The three paths in this exhibit are the results of Cooper’s travels, studies, observations, and experimentation inspired by Asian travel and study from a fifteen-year period, 1995-2010.  This experience led to the discovery and exploration of groups of symbols rendered in oil, acrylic, gold leaf, stone and paper mache. The exhibit Three Paths is sponsored by the Willie and Ruth Still Cox, Marilyn Cox Elliott and Suzanne Cox Hartness Fund.
