Last week, the Morgan County basketball program hosted the Bulldog Basketball Camp for young athletes between the ages of seven and 13. Fifty-five participants attended the camp, which took place between 8 a.m. and noon from Monday to Friday of last week. The cost of the program was $50 per camper. Coach Milfred Franklin, who has also been instrumental during the basketball program’s Hoop Dogs summer season, directed the camp. “We focused on basketball fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship and make it enjoyable for the kids,” said Coach Franklin. On June 29, the Hoop Dogs will host another Saturday of games, which will take place at both the middle school and high school gyms.
