    On March 23 an auto theft complaint was filed at an Eatonton Road truck stop after a man reported that someone had taken his 2000 Freightliner Century truck.
    The man told police that he left the truck unlocked at 9:30 p.m. at the truck stop and when he returned at 8 a.m. his truck was missing. The man said he had a spare key hidden under the hood. The truck is valued at $10,000.
    On March 21 two reports of counterfeiting were filed, one at an Eatonton Road car lot and another at a health food store. According to reports, a woman reported that she had cashed her paycheck at a liquor store and then paid on her car loan at the Eatonton Road car lot with a $100 bill she had received from the liquor store.
    The woman said she was later notified by the car lot that the bill was counterfeit. A co-owner at the lot reported that a local bank had reported that the bill was counterfeit when it was attempting to record a deposit. On the same day a woman at an Eatonton Road health food store reported that a black male with a heavy British accent used a $100 bill to purchase $20 worth of fish oil. The woman said when she attempted to deposit the money she also was informed by the bank that the bill was counterfeit.
    On March 16 a warrant was issued for the arrest of Stephanie Charesse Oliver, 19, Madison on shoplifting charges after a woman at an Eatonton Road department store alleged that Oliver took one bottle of Clean and Clear face wash, one bottle of Body Fantasies perfume and one package of plastic dental tooth picks without paying for the items. The items are valued at $10.25. The store employee said she captured the alleged thefts on video tape. She also provided officers with a description and tag number of a blue Ford pickup truck in which Oliver was a passenger when she left the store.

• On March 8 a theft by taking and criminal trespass complaint was filed at a Double Bridges Road location after a man reported that someone removed a window air conditioning unit from a church. Reports state that removal of the unit had caused damage to the window.

• On Feb. 22 an attempt to commit financial identity fraud complaint was filed at an Atlanta Highway location after a woman reported that she was contacted by her credit card company regarding $252.78 in charges to Netrition.com. The company reported that the merchandise was to be shipped to a Lithonia address. The woman said she had not made the charges and did not know anyone at the address. The card was cancelled.

• On March 6 a verbal dispute complaint was filed at a Mallard Ridge Road location after a woman reported that at 2:45 a.m., her estranged husband began texting and calling her. The woman said the man then began to beat on her bedroom door demanding money to pay bills. The woman said she and the man are in the process of getting divorced but both inhabit the same residence.

• On March 9 an entering auto complaint was filed at a Wildflower Way location after a man reported that someone entered his work van and removed a TomTom GPS unit and a laptop computer.

• On March 8 a 15-year-old male child was arrested and charged with unruly child and terroristic threats after he allegedly walked through a Jackson Street house using profanity and destroying household items. According to reports, the juvenile allegedly became enraged, in part, after he discovered that his mother was attempting to disable wireless internet in the house. During that altercation the juvenile was not detained.

• On March 8 a fraud complaint was filed at a Madison Avenue location after a woman reported that while she was shopping for a vehicle online, she found a car on a purported eBay site for $1,285. The woman said she wired the money to the person advertising the vehicle but after the wire went through, she has no longer been able to contact the person and she has not received the vehicle. The vehicle’s seller’s name was Alicia Irwing. Reports state that an investigation into the transaction revealed that the vehicle and the seller were at the center of an internet scam across the United States and several people had reported losing money to the seller.

• On March 8 a harassing communication complaint was filed at a South Main Street location after a man reported that the husband of a patient had allegedly called and threatened him regarding the timeliness of the complainant delivering the results of a medical procedure. The man allegedly told the complainant that if he did not immediately return results, he would come to the man’s office and “show his butt.” The complainant advised that he would suggest that the couple seek medical advice elsewhere.

• On March 4 Elizabeth Osullivan, 54, Rutledge, was arrested and charged with shoplifting after she allegedly purchased $48.31 worth of groceries from an Eatonton Road grocery store but attempted to leave with another $77.91 worth of groceries under her shopping cart that was not paid for.
According to reports, an employee at the store confronted Osullivan, who allegedly fled the store and left both the paid and unpaid items at the store. She was stopped in a vehicle near the store. The grocery items that were paid for were transported to the Madison Police Department and stored.
Osullivan retrieved those items after she bonded out of the Morgan County Detention Center.
