A Morgan County man forgot to check his pockets prior to meeting with his parole officer on Monday.
Ryan O’Neal Parrish, 24, Bishop, was arrested moments after he emptied his pockets at the Morgan County Detention Center and deputies allegedly found a single piece of suspected crack cocaine in his pocket.

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office is warning local residents to be aware of people posing as United States Census Bureau workers who are actually attempting to steal residents identities.

• On May 30 Felton Harris, 53, Madison was arrested and charged with terroristic threats and acts after he allegedly threatened to kill a woman two times. According to reports, Harris allegedly told the woman he would kill her after she allegedly refused to return a cell phone.
