On May 11 a damage to property complaint was filed at a Garnett Street location after a woman reported that someone had shattered the back rear passenger window of her 2004 Acura 3.5 RL.
On May 10 a larceny from auto complaint was filed at a South Main Street location after a woman reported that someone entered her 2008 Chevrolet Aveo while it was parked at Madison Baptist Church. The woman reported that someone removed her brown purse that contained her wallet, driver’s license, medical insurance card, debit card, $160 in cash and a cell phone that is not operable.
On May 6 Melody Ann Sandford, 49, Rutledge, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, interference with a business and public drunk. According  to reports, officers were called to the parking lot of Olde South Wine and Liquor on Eatonton Highway after an employee at the store reported that a woman was in the parking lot allegedly harassing customers and attempting to get into customer’s vehicles. Officers located Sandford across the street at a convenience store and attempted to explain why they had been called to the area but, reports state, Sandford allegedly became confrontational and would not adhere to officers commands. She was then forced to the ground and arrested.
On May 11 a damage to property complaint was filed at Heritage Park, Madison after a woman reported that someone had shattered the window on the driver side of her 2007 Nissan Quest.
