Mrs. Lynda Faye Palmer, 51, of Buckhead, died February 5, 2009.  Mrs. Palmer was born December 26, 1957 in Graham County, N.C. to Aud and Bessie Crisp Williams. She was married to Robert Joseph Palmer, Sr. The Palmers made their home in Buckhead. Mrs. Palmer was a member of Freedom Worship Center.

Dorothy Dixon Gilmore, 84, died February 3, 2009 at the home of her daughter, Olga Warren in Fayetteville. She was born September 13, 1924 in Orlando, Florida to the late Ulysses Dixon of Dawson and the late Amrose Stewart of Madison. She was the granddaughter of the late Oscar and Hattie Mapp and niece of the late Olga Mapp of Madison.

Martha Julia Hollis, 70, of Social Circle, died Monday, February 2, 2009.
Mrs. Hollis loved antiques and enjoyed working at her booth at the antique mall in Social Circle.

Jerry Wayne Igo, 54, of Madison died Thursday, January 29, 2009. He fought a battle with cancer for 21 months. He was born August 28, 1954 in White Sulfur Spring, West Virginia to Herbert and Marie White Igo. He served in the United States Army. He most recently worked as a supervisor for Pilgrims Pride.

Catherine Stewart Milburn, 62, of Eatonton died Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Athens Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Norman and Mary Brown Stewart. She was born March 9, 1946 in Habersham County.
