Anna Rebekah Howell and Ryan Erol Saltik

Anna Rebekah Howell and Ryan Erol Saltik were married on May 22, 2010 at five o'clock in the afternoon. Reverend MaCrae Olinger performed the double ring ceremony in the presence of family and friends. The music for the ceremony was performed by Mark Maxwell, guitarist, and Dr. Eunice Swain, cellist, both of Athens.

The ceremony took place in the yard of The Rock House in Buckhead under an oak tree. The service was enhanced by the passage of a train. The vows were performed under an arch covered with smilax and magnolia blossoms. the rose lined path was defined by large pots of boxwood and ivy. Reverend Olinger explained the significance of the setting to the guests as it was a favorite place of Rebekah's father who died when she was five.

The bride was given in marriage by her step-father, Dr. John Wade and escorted down the aisle by her brother, Kennon Howell. Her sister, Leigh Coberly, was her matron of honor, and the bridesmaids were Elise and Claire Coberly, both nieces of the bride, Monique Payne, sister of the groom and Linda Semerjian. Mr. Saltik's father, John, was his best man and groomsmen were Kennon Howell, David Coberly, brother-in-law of the bride, and Eric Long and Jason Choc, both friends of the groom. The bride and her attendants carried bouquets of the bride's favorite flowers that were created by Jen Newell of Madison

Mason-Reynolds Wedding

Sara Francis Mason and Mr. Michael Phillip Reynolds were married on July 2 at the Cal-Neva Resort, Crystal Bay, Nevada, in an outdoor ceremony among towering Ponderosa pines and ancient granite boulders overlooking Lake Tahoe and the surrounding snow-tipped mountains of the High Sierra.

The bride, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mason Jr., of Madison, is the granddaughter of  the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Levingston Mason Sr., also of Madison, and the late Mrs. Beulah White Pegues of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and the late Mr. Thomas Jackson Clay Jr. of  New Orleans, Louisiana.

She is a graduate of Hampshire College with a BA in Cultural Studies and received her Masters and PhD of Sociology from the University of California Santa Barbara. She is presently an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Gainesville State College.

The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Reynolds of  Marietta, is the grandson of Mrs. Marjorie Ware and the late Mr. Clyde Ware of Atlanta and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Reynolds also of Atlanta. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with degrees in English and Journalism and works as a genius at the Apple Store at Lenox Square in Atlanta.
Tina Mason Seetoo, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. The junior bridesmaids were Rachel Ann Mason and Molly Katherine Mason, nieces of the bride.

The flower GRRRL was Morgan Elizabeth Mason, niece of the bride, and the flower girls were Sara Ella Seetoo, niece of the bride, and Molly Reynolds King, niece of the groom.

J.E. Fretwell served as best man and Adam Matthew King, nephew of the groom, was junior groomsman. Bryan Clay Mason, James Ross Mason and Henry Thomas Seetoo, nephews of the bride, served as ring bearers.

Carey- Duncan Wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Scott Matthew Carey of Bostwick, Georgia, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Catherine Carey to Mr. Aubrey Terence Duncan, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Terence Duncan, Sr. of Americus, Georgia.

Miss Carey is the granddaughter of Mrs. Runae Peters Daws and the late Hart Sibley Daws of Rutledge, Georgia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Tap Mathew Carey of Bostwick, Georgia. She is a 2002 graduate of George Walton Academy and a 2006 graduate of the University of Georgia. While at Georgia, she was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. Miss Carey received her law degree from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in May.

Mr. Duncan is the grandson of Mrs. Mary Wilkinson and the late Marvin Glynn Wilkinson of Fort Deposit, Alabama, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Clifford Duncan of Fort Deposit, Alabama. He is a 1998 graduate of Southland Academy and a 2001 graduate of Auburn University. While at Auburn, he was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. He is employed at Holden & Associates in Savannah, Georgia.

An August wedding is planned at Americus First United Methodist Church, after which the couple will reside in Savannah, Georgia.

Few-Collins Wedding

Sarah Brooks Few and Jeremy Brian Collins were united in marriage at 7 p.m., March 13, 2010 at Madison First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Kirk Bozeman officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Warren Few Jr., of Madison. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Wayne Collins of Lake Helen, Fla.

Payson Moss, pianist and organist; Stan DeJarnett, trumpeter; and Emily DeJarnett, soloist provided the nuptial music. The church sanctuary and choir loft were framed by ferns and palms. A central arched candelabrum provided candlelight as did the pillar candles placed in the center of each floral arrangement in the windows. The altar featured two large arrangements of blue hydrangea, pink and white roses, green hypericum berries, light and dark blue delphinium, pink snapdragons, white stock and Stargazer lillies.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Warren Few. She wore a white satin gown by Mikaella Bridal which featured a cross-over, strapless, draped bodice and draped, modified, A-line skirt. The gown had covered buttons the length of the chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of gardenia blooms, freesia, white lilies and roses, cascading dendrobium orchids and variegated ivy. The bouquet was tied with white silk ribbon.

Mary Frances Few Davidson, sister of the bride, served as Matron of Honor. Claire Wynne Holloway was Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Susie Few Martinson, sister of the bride, Senatobia, Miss.; Indee Russell Few, sister-in-law of the bride, Augusta; and junior bridesmaid, Emma Kate Few, niece of the bride, Augusta. Sarah Warren Davidson, niece of the bride, served as flower girl.

Massey/Taylor wedding 

Love was in the air on Saturday, February 6, 2010 as Jessica Renee Massey and Thomas Michael Taylor, Jr. were united in holy matrimony. The marriage ceremony was held at the historic Isle of Hope United Methodist Church in Savannah with nearly 300 family and friends attending. The Rev. Richard Reese and the groom’s grandfather, The Honorable Judge Robert Cook, served as co-officiates. The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Traditional wedding ceremony music was performed by Nancy Voegelsang on the piano, Terry Moore on the violin and Sarah Schenkman on the cello. Scripture reading of I Corinthians chapter 13 was read by Tim Reed. The Lord’s Prayer was recited by all.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Massey of Madison. She is the granddaughter of Mary Kilgore, Milledgeville and Charles Couch, Monroe and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Massey Sr., Madison. The groom is the son of Victoria Cook Taylor, Thunderbolt and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Taylor, Sr., Savannah. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Geer, Covington, Virginia and The Honorable Judge and Mrs. Robert Cook, Midway and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Taylor, Savannahand the great-grandson of Joseph Cavanaugh, Sr., of Covington, Virginia.
The maid of honor was Laura Massey, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Katie Braselton, Emily Fraser, Beth Huff, Kathryn Ladomirak, Molly Tyree, Gray Ouzts, and Nina West. The program attendants were: Rebecca Hillis and Brooke Robinson. The groom’s best man was his father, Michael Taylor, Sr. The groomsmen were Phillip Hudson, Kenneth Lyng, John Morris, Dusty Nowell, Justin Rodgers, Michael Sancomb, and Shelby Phillips. Ryan Nutter served as usher. Additional wedding party members escorted in were Blanche Carter, great-aunt of the bride and Tiffany Nutter, sister of the groom.
