Ford - Lewis

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kendrick Lewis, Jr., of Athens, announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Dudley Lewis, to Dr. Bradshaw Neil Ford, son of Dr. and Mrs. Brad Neil Ford of Cordele.
The bride elect is the granddaughter of Dr. Lawrence Kendrick Lewis and the late Mary Ann Lewis of Madison, and Mr. and Mrs. Berry Carl Dudley of Opelika, Ala. Miss Lewis is a graduate of Athens Academy. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management from The University of Georgia, and is a recent graduate of Georgia State University College of Law.
Dr.  Ford is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Neil Ford of Americus, and Mrs. O. Wendell Horne, Jr. and the late Judge Horne of Cordele. Dr. Ford is a graduate of Stratford Academy in Macon. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics from The University of Georgia, and graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. He is currently practicing in Macon and Cordele.
An October wedding is planned at the First United Methodist Church in Athens.

York - Woodard

Mr. and Mrs. Hansell Norwood York, III, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Jackson, Miss., announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Frances, to Cameron Norton Woodward, son of Mr. and Mrs. Heyward Lamar Woodward, Jr., of Buckhead. Miss York is the granddaughter of Mrs. Hansell Norwood York, Jr., and the late Mr. York of Baytown, Texas, and the late Rev. Dr. Myers B. Curtis, of Houston, Texas, and the late Jane Nelms Lansford, of Georgetown, Texas. Mr. Woodward is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James T. Williams of Greensboro, and Mrs. Alva Arthur Norton, Jr., and the late Mr. Norton, of Buckhead, and the late Heyward Lamar Woodward.
Miss York is a graduate of Jackson Academy and of the University of Mississippi where she received a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences. While at Ole Miss, she was a Varsity Cheerleader and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She is currently a Sales Manager at The Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta.
Mr. Woodward is a graduate of Morgan County High School, Madison. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Georgia, and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law. He is currently a partner with the law firm of Cossio, Lebowski and Woodward. The wedding will take place August 27, 2011 at The Farm at Old Edwards Inn in Highlands, N.C.

Haney– Eley to wed

   

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Howard Haney, III, of Madison, Georgia, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Lane Haney, to Dr. Daniel Warren Eley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Lewis Eley, of West Melbourne, Florida.
    The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of  Lynette Avery Drew and the late James Richard Drew of Demorest, Georgia, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Howard Haney, Jr., of Metter. 
    Dr. Eley is the grandson of Margaret Ann Cochran Eisenmenger and the late Robert Warren Eisenmenger of West Melbourne, and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Eugene Eley, of Melbourne, Florida.
    Miss Haney is a graduate of Morgan County High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from The University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee, and a Master of Art History and Museum Management from the University of South Carolina, Columbia. She is currently Project Coordinator and Development Associate for Steffen Thomas Museum of Art in Buckhead.
    Dr. Eley is a graduate of Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, in Melbourne.
    He received a Bachelor of Science in Physics from The University of the South, and is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry, Gainesville. 
    He is employed by Christie Dental in Cocoa Beach, Florida.
    The wedding is planned for the Spring of 2012 in All Saints’ Chapel on the campus of The University of the South.
