After last year’s terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India, the fourth such attack since 1992 life was pretty much back to normal by the following week. In Iraq, suicide bombers seem to constantly attack Shia Muslims on their way to pilgrimages. Yet the worshipers keep making those pilgrimages.

The Caring Place thanks the Morgan County members of the National Association of Letter Carriers and the United States Postal Service for the many, many canned goods collected during their STAMP OUT HUNGER food drive. We also thank the Morgan County residents who donated so generously to this program.

End of the year school events add thrill to education

I know the newspaper will cover these events with superb aplomb, but I wanted to add a few words about three school events I attended last week.
