Church yard sale is right around the corner

A great weekend we've just experienced — chilly and windy day on Saturday but sunny, and a great day to kick off our chicken barbecue fund raiser. It was a great success, our men were  at Heritage Park by 5:30 a.m., ready to get them chicks roasting good and proper. We thank each and every one of you that purchased tickets,  bought cakes,  and what a joy to serve you. Also thanks to our own ladies and men for working  together so well to bring this  successful event together. Thank you to those of you that gave  generous donations, and believe me, you will be blessed, a great way to begin the week end.
Our crowd was off on Sunday with several out sick and actually in bed with some cruddy illness, while we were blessed with  visitors, we are so thankful. We missed those of you that were unable to come worship with us.
Butch read to us, taking his scripture from Romans 3: 21-26, talking to us about righteousness only God  can provide, all have sinned,  if you don't believe this, you call God a liar. Paul preached and believed through Jesus Christ. Righteousness is a free gift from God, it cannot be earned, bought or received through works and we cannot do it on our own. What a great message.
You should have seen the large beautiful snowball flowers placed by Miss Ellie. They came from her niece's flower garden, thank you Miss Martha for sharing your beauty.
