Rutledge Council approves comp plan update

The Rutledge City Council unanimously approved the five-year update to its 10-year Comprehensive Plan, which is part of a 2009 county-wide comp-plan update that will be forwarded to the state for approval in February.

Morgan County Elementary School was granted a Platinum Achievement Award by the Governor's Office of Student Achievement (GOSA).
Hospital reports income loss in October

It couldn’t last forever. After months of rising hospital revenues and record-setting inpatient revenues, Morgan Memorial Hospital officials reported a net income loss for the month of October, the first such report in over a year.
