GOP to hold anti–tax TEA party at courthouse April 15

    Three area women have come together to have a Morgan County TEA Party.
    Part of Joanne Parker’s role as a mother of two is to stand up for what she believes is right for her family, that is why she chose to help Ginger McFaddin and Kim Curro organize a local TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party.

Sheriff warns of scam artists in area

    Morgan County Sheriff Robert Markley is warning Morgan residents to be aware of a group of traveling con artists that are currently active in the area.
    According to Markley a group known as the “Irish Travelers” have recently perpetrated home improvement scams and burglaries in Putnam County.

Anne Frank exhibit to open at library on Monday

The life and legacy of Holocaust victim Anne Frank will be brought to light in Morgan County, through an exhibit that opens Monday.
"Anne Frank: A History for Today" is set to debut Monday, April 13 through Thursday, April 30 at the Morgan County Library, 1131 East Avenue in Madison.
