Each year, Morgan County Middle School participates in a fund raiser for the American Heart Association called Hoops for Heart.
This year’s fund raiser was very special for the Lady Pups fast pitch softball team because the event was dedicated to to Steve Poling, the team’s long time bus driver.

Local resident Stephanie Hudak knows that, during these trouble-drenched days, even small encouragements can make all the difference.
While walking around downtown Madison one day a few years ago, Hudak noticed that the city could be nicer.

Morgan County area horse breeders are excited about the opportunity to showcase their breeding programs at the upcoming EquiFest, which will be held the last Saturday in April.

Students and visitors got a special, close-up look at famous people, including Annie Oakley, Buffalo Bill, Paul Revere, Helen Keller, Clara Barton, Rosa Parks, Payne Stewart, Dian Fossey, Hank Aaron and, of course, Britney Spears.
