The aroma of fresh baked goods fill the house as fall approaches. This is the smell our Chef of the Week loves the most.
“I like to turn the oven on in the fall and winter. It heats up the house, and the aroma of freshly baked cookies and bread fills the air,” Shannon said.

Local artist recognized with resolution

On January 17, The House of Representatives read and adopted a resolution honoring and remembering the life of renowned artist Jackson Bailey.

Bailey resided in the City of Rutledge for 34 years prior to his death in July of 2004 at the age of 76.
