Renowned cook, author, and culinary television producer Virginia Willis will be spending time at Dog Ear Bookstore this Sunday at 2 p.m. Willis plans to read from and sign copies of her new cookbook, “Bon Appetit, Y’all: Recipes and Stories from Three Generations of Southern Cooking.”

Community Holiday Concert to benefit Caring Place

The Madison-Morgan Cultural Center will host its annual Community Holiday Concert benefiting the Caring Place at 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 14. The price of admission: at least one canned-food item to be donated to the Caring Place’s food bank.

Morgan County residents got a jump on the rest of the nation's Harry Potter fans as Madison's Ingles supermarket had J.K. Rowling's latest addition to the series, "The Tales of Beedle the Bard" on stands early this week.
