Dogs blast Jackson

Morgan County opened their region slate in fine style as they completely dominated the first half to set the tone and thrash Jackson County. The Dogs offense scored on three of their first four possessions and the defense held Jackson to one first down in the first two quarters to open up a 20-0 lead.

The Morgan County junior varsity football team traveled to region powerhouse Stephens County last Thursday to face off against a much stronger and bigger Indians team.
With good, strong play on the defensive side of the ball, the Dogs were able to squeeze a 6-6 tie out of the contest.
Cross Country gets underway

Lady Dogs host Tournament

One week following the Oconee County Mid-Summer Classic, the Morgan County Lady Dog fastpitch sofball team hosted their own tounament, the Lady Dog Invitational at Heritage Park.
Several people descended upon Heritage Park to offer support and cheer to their hometown girls.
Bullpups start strong

For the second consecutive game, the Morgan County Middle School Bullpups dominated the opposition in route to a one-sided victory.
The Pups defeated the Loganville Middle School Red Devils last Wednesday 27-7 to move their season record to 2-0 on the season.
A quick start by the Pups offense set the tone for the game.
