Girls golf records two wins against Alcovy

The Morgan County Lady Bulldog golf team took two matches against Alcovy High School last week.
The Lady Dogs posted a 103 –131 win on March 24 with Meredith Owen leading the Lady Dogs effort with a 45.

Defeated Monticello, Monroe; Fell to Wilkes Last Week

The Morgan County Diamond Dogs concluded the non-region portion of their schedule last week with a 15-1 win over Monticello, a 8-7 loss to Washington-Wilkes and an 11-1 win over Monroe-Area.
The 2-1 week moved the Dogs season record to 9-2 overall.

JV Diamond Dogs split double-header

Bad weather a few weeks ago forced the junior varsity Diamond Dogs into a double-header last Saturday.
Morgan split the two games, losing the opener to Oconee County 10-2. The Dogs regrouped during the 20 minute break and defeated Monroe-Area 9-1.
Lady Dogs out golfed by Hart Co.

Head Coach of the Morgan County Lady Dog golf team Pam Hooten said that last Tuesday’s match against region opponent Hart County was “an ugly match.”
Hart County went on to defeat Morgan by a total score of 99-114.
Pups, Lady Pups golf into action

The Morgan County Middle School Pups and Lady Pups golf teams opened their season last Tuesday at Hard Labor Creek against Social Circle Middle School.
The Pups captured victory in their season opener, out shooting Social Circle 230-245.
