More than 50 people met at a public hearing at 7 p.m. on Tuesday with the Morgan County Board of Commissioners and two employees of the Board of Assessors to discuss House Bill 1081, a new law passed on May 14 that allows a county’s governing authority to establish a minimum acreage for entry into Conservation Use.
