Sandra Karl, 71, of Madison died Friday, February 6, 2009 at Abby Hospice, Social Circle after fighting a long seven year battle with ovarian cancer. She was cremated with a memorial service planned for 11 a.m. February 14 at the Episcopal Church of the Advent in Madison.
She was born September 19, 1937 in Olean, New York and has lived in Madison raising her horses for the past 32 years.
She is survived by her husband, Allan Karl of Madison, a daughter, Holly Lombardo, son-in-law, Phil Lombardo, and a grandson Matthew, all of Atlanta; and a son, Paul Karl of Commerce.
