Killer News.  Come in close y’all ‘cause I’ve gotta whisper! I ain’t supposed to be talkin’ ‘bout it so y’all didn’t hear this from me! Right! So I was in Petals Salon, located at 203 West Jefferson St., the other day for a quick grey removal treatment and lord have mercy I heard me a whopper news nugget!  Hollywood’s done come to town! I’m talkin’ ‘bout this really scary movie called H2 – Halloween 2, directed by rocker, writer and movie director Rob Zombie!  Ok so in this show slated to be released in August, the psycho killer wears this really spooky white mask, slings around a really big sharp knife and honey he does not brush his hair! EVER!  Anyway, a bona fide Hollywood location scout who will remain nameless has been in town for several weeks and there have been movie people sightings at the Madison ChopHouse Grille, located at 202 South Main Street in Madison.  So y’all! This means if Dimension Films, the specialty genre arm of The Weinstein Company, shoots lots of the movie in Morgan County it’s gonna be a real big boost for our local economy ‘cause those Hollywood movie people and actors will stay in our hotels, eat in our restaurants, get their hair cut in our salons, relax in our spas and shop in our fab shops! So y’all be extra, extra sweet to our Hollywood friends! Word on the web is that they’ll be lensing (Hollywood talk for film shootin’) around the end of February!
    Oh and some of the movie stars that are supposed to be in this shocker show are Tyler Mane, who’s like 6’9ish” and will play perf psychopath Michael Myers! Yikes! But, for real y’all, under that mask Momma says he’s right cute! Mark Christopher Lawrence will play Deputy King, Jeffery Daniel Phillips (one of the fab famous Geico Cavemen) will play Howard Boggs, Ezra Buzzington (who has the BEST. EARS. EVER!) will play Ned Atkins, Chris Hardwick will play David Newman, Daniel Roebuck will play Lou Martini and Scout Taylor Compton will play Laurie Strobe! Ding dang! We’re gonna have more fun than you can shake a stick at!
    Eat Local. All this movie talk has me right hungry for some home-grown goodies and the best place to get that is Hunker Downs on Academy Street in Madison Markets! Y’all! You can buy Morgan County milk from our very own Johnston Family Farm and it is slap-yo-momma good! Oh and Johnston’s is fixin’ to offer slim and 2 percent milk too! Yeehaw!

    Hold on y’all while I get the phone. Great! That was Ginger Gardner owner of super fabulous Town & Country located at 204 West Washington Street in Madison Markets! Momma was down in South Georgia for the Annual Meetin’ of the Southern Association for the Legalization of White Lightenin’ and she pulled her lumbar doin’ the limbo and pert near cracked her back! Don’t worry y’all! She’s pert near recovered!
