Gail Malcom, 61, of Monroe, died on December 29, 2008.  She was born in Walton County on December 23, 1947 to the late Roger Malcom and the late Daisy Malcom.  She was a lifelong member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church.

Surviving are: husband: Tommy Malcom, Jr.; daughters and sons-in-law: Georgia Ann Malcom of Monroe, Juan and Dena Garcia of Good Hope, and Matthew and Carrie Watson of Monroe; grandchildren: Suzie and Daisy Malcom; Rebecca, Hope and Grace Maldonado, and Ellie Garcia; and a brother: G.R. Malcom of Monroe.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be given to the Union Chapel Children’s Fund, 2625 Pannell Road, Monroe, GA 30655.

Memorial Services were held on Saturday, January 3 at 2:00 p.m. at Union Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Laycock officiating.

Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
