Dotte Tamplin
Dotte Tamplin, wife of Terry Tamplin, entered into rest Friday, December 5, 2008 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
The viewing was held at Carter’s Funeral Home Sunday, December 7. The graveside service was held Monday, December 8 with the Rev. Michael Pritchett, cousin of Mrs. Tamplin officiating. Pallbearers were her nephew, Pete Evans, cousins, Gary and Kenny Pritchett, John Tinseth, C. M. Copelan and Eric Strozier.
In addition to her loving husband Terry Tamplin, She is survived by three daughters, Vickie Morris Passow and son-in-law Rick Passow of Madison, Sherry Waters – Brownlee and son-in-law Dennis Brownlee of Aiken, South Carolina, Donna Prior and son-in-law Judge William Prior of Madison and son Timmy Phillips of Sevierville, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Annie Morris, Makenzi Morris, Alivia Morris, Anna Kate Waters, Callie Waters and Josh Phillips; three siblings, Al Hunnicutt of Madison, Melvin Hunnicutt of Lawrenceville and Ethel Boyce of Sarosota, Florida and numberous nieces and nephews and an aunt and uncle, Alberta and Herbert Pritchett and many other dear family members and friends.
Dottie was extremely loved and cherished by her family and friends and she will be missed by all who knew her.
The family wishes to express our deepest gratitude for all the support we received from family and friends. We would also like to thank Morgan Memorial Hospital, Morgan County Emergency Services and Athens Regional Medical Center for the outstanding care you provided.
