Hey Momma fix up your backpack! We can enjoy this Fall-like weather with a hike in beautiful Hard Labor Creek State Park right smack here in Rutledge! Let’s throw caution to the wind and do some off-trail hikin’! Yeah! Back to wilderness in Nature City! Ain’t nothin’ out here but trees, birds and . . . What the? Momma! Hide! There’s a herd of Bigfoots sittin’ over there next to the creek! Shasta! I thought those Georgia boys were up to shenanigans when they said they found a Big Foot body in North Georgia! Don’t look now but that big, sever-foot-seven, 500-pound Bigfoot’s done spotted us! Momma! Distract him! Toss that jug of Moon Shine over to the man-ape! Ding Dang! Bigfoot likes White Lightenin’! Now’s our chance; run like the wind! Whew! That was close! Let’s head over to The Caboose located at 102 West Main St., in downtown Rutledge and get us a treat to celebrate our escape! Yum!
Hey we need us a T-Shirt that says: Bigfoot Stole my Moon Shine at Hard Labor Creek State Park! And, I know just where to go to get one! NuArt Printers owned by Dean and Debbie Tillery and located at 1031 Sulgrave Drive in Madison is now in the screen-printin’ business! Oh I almost forgot! Momma wanted me to make sure I said congratulations to Madisonian Ann Trulock who was just named to the Bank of Madison Board of Directors! Momma says Ann’s happy as can be to serve for the same bank her daddy served in as a director and president and where her granddaddy was a board member in the 1930s! Let’s go deposit some money girls!
Somethin’ is up at Pure Bliss located at 131 West Jefferson St., in downtown Madison! Honey they are gettin’ ready to enhance their existin’ services and add new services . . . or should I say blisses? A little bird told me they were workin’ on some new facials and some stronger peels! Honey that’s what this middle aged Biz Buzz needs immediately! Oh and they’ve got some surprises up their sleeves in the massage department too . . . like a head, neck & shoulder massage and other relaxation techniques!
Where do I sign up? I mean the Biz Buzz column keeps me so busy I ain’t got time to cuss a cat! It’s flat stressful! Anyway, these enhancements are set to be available in September! Oh and Pure Bliss owner Julie Speyer wanted me to let y’all know they’re now offering Jane Iredale’s Dream Tint in addition to all the other Jane Iredale products! Ok so Dream Tint not only hydrates but it minimizes the appearance of fine lines the likes of which reside all over my ding dang face! Oh and it has a SPF 15 with UVA protection! Gotta get me some now!
Berryman’s Service Station owned by Dave Berryman and located at 244 South Main Street in downtown Madison is gonna be selling gas real soon! They’re workin’ on ironin’ out an agreement with the new building owners and are hopin’ to be pumpin’ gas by the first of the month! Oh and the car wash is still open! Call James Laborn at 706-707-6445 if you want to schedule an appointment for your car or just drive on over to Berryman’s Service Station! Yeehaw!
