The Citizen follows a Morgan County kindergartener through her “first day of school” experience

Tuesday saw many firsts for the children, and adults, of Morgan County’s schools.

For Kindergarteners, though, it’s a brand-new beginning. It’s time for buying a new bookbag, lunchbox, school clothes and shoes; a time for meeting the teacher (and, in some cases, the class gerbil) a time for getting one step closer to growing up.

Citizen photographer Angelina Bellebuono followed one Morgan County Kindergartener through her experience preparing for the First Day of School, and throughout Day One itself.
