Alvin Hannah
Alvin Hannah, 73, of Madison died Thursday, July 10, 2008 after a brief illness.
He was born November 17, 1934 in Heard County to Sam and Lilly Mae Hannah. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a steel erector, building bridges. He was a member of Apalachee Baptist Church where he loved singing in the choir.
Mr. Hannah is survived by his wife, Marie Richardson Hannah and his children, Amy Thompson, Scott Shipp, Patty McDevitt, Timothy Boyd and Gerald Boyd, 21 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and five brothers. A son, Kenneth Hannah, preceded him in death.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 12 at Apalachee Baptist Church. Interment followed at Faith Memorial Gardens
A. E. Carter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Bobby Richard Randall
Bobby Richard Randall, 68, of Lilburn, died Thursday, July 10, 2008.
The funeral was Sunday, July 13, at 2 p.m. in Bill Head Funeral Home Lilburn / Tucker Chapel with Rev. John Baker officiating Interment followed in Gwinnett Memorial Gardens, Lawrenceville.
Mr. Randall was a native of Siloam and a commercial salesman for Mayfield Dairy for 10 years.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ann Randall of Lilburn; sons, Bobby Randall Jr. (Beverly) of Stone Mountain, Keith Randall of Cumming; daughter, Kellie Durrence (Joey) of Winder; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brother, Wesley Randall of Texas and a sister, Frances Youngblood of Madison.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louie Thomas and Grace Estelle Randall, brothers, Grady and J. W. Randall.
Bill Head Funeral Home and Crematory Lilburn/Tucker Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Gabriel Scott Boyce
Gabriel Scott Boyce, infant son of Chad Elisah Boyce and Jessica Beavers Boyce, died July 8, 2008. He was born July 8 at Athens Regional Hospital.
Graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 11 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Joe Hughes officiated.
He is survived by his parents, Chad and Jessica Boyce of Madison; grandparents, Russell and Cheryl Beavers of Maryville, Tennessee; Harold and Beverly Boyce of Buckhead; great-grandparents, Frank and Betty Newberry of Lizella and Patricia Lankford of Decatur; aunts, Emily Boyce of Buckhead, Crissy (Jason) Layfield of Reynolds, Kelly Beavers of Norfolk, Virginia, Amanda Beavers of Maryville, Tennessee, Chris Beavers and Shannon Keith, both of Conyers.
Vining Ivy Hill Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Julius P. Adcock
Julius P. Adcock, 87, of Monroe, died July 3, 2008. He was born September 21, 1920 to Homer and Ella Adcock of Monroe. He was a World War II United States Army veteran receiving the Purple Heart and was a retired supervisor with the Walton Fabric Division of Avondale Mills with over 47 years of service.
He was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Monroe.
Funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 6 in the Monroe Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Conner officiated.
He is survived by his widow, Mary Adcock of Monroe; daughter, Anita Cox of Good Hope; sons and daughters-in-law, Floyd and Barbara Adcock of Madison, Phil and Joy Adcock of Navarre, Florida, Mark and Susan Adcock of Monroe; sisters, Lessie Hester and Ozella Hawk, both of Monroe; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
