Theme for Brownwood VBS to be “Son Harvest Country Fair”

By Margie Ward

On Sunday morning a good attendance, visitors were present. We pray they received a blessing by being with us today and will come as God leads to be with us again. The call to worship was “Lord Send A Revival,” by the choir. Special music by Denny Pickett, “When He speaks to me.” Bro. Ron’s message, “Purpose of Church,” Matthew 28, Matthew 9: 36-38. The local church is for a reason, Jesus wants souls saved. God specializes in our needs. Miracles take place when we step out in faith and be a part of a miracle for God’s glory. Jesus was a busy man, teaching, preaching, healing, etc. He wants us to be busy about His work, the harvest truly is plenteous but the laborers are few. Jesus tells us, go and tell others about me and lift me up. Jesus’ command was go and make disciples. Jesus said, “All power is given to me in heaven and in earth.” We can know He is with us wherever we go and whomever we come in contact with each day.

If God can move you
From shame to fame,
Insult to result,
Sorry to glory,
Disgrace to His grace,
Labour to favour,
Mockery to victory.
May the Lord raise you,
From Glory to Glory!

Have a blessed day.
