News from Brownwood

On Sunday morning a very good attendance was present with some visitors. We pray they could feel God’s presence among us and received a blessing by being with us today and will come back and be with us a God leads to any of our services. Special music, “He’s Worthy” by Ronald Atkinson. Another special by the Praise Group, “How great is our God.”
For the message today Denny and Patsy Pickett presented a slide presentation showing their recent mission trip to Haiti. They told about each slide and explained how the people there lived. They do have places to worship, pastors and teachers to tell them about Jesus. In all living areas they have many, many needs they do not have all the modern conveniences we have that we take for granted every day. It is really hard to see how the people there and other places live. We need to really pray for them and their needs and be more mindful and thankful for what we have. God has really blessed us and continues to do so each and every day.
After the presentation a love offering was taken to help buy a generator for the church at Foison, Haiti. During the invitation Terry, Dedi, Abigail and Rebekah Moss came forward uniting with our church. We thank God for this family and pray we will always be there for them anytime they need us.
