Jimmy Ray Breedlove
    Jimmy Ray Breedlove, 64, of Buckhead died Wednesday, March 27, 2008.
    Mr. Breedlove was a member of Swords United Methodist Church in Buckhead.
    His parents, Elmer and Eva Mae Breedlove and a brother, Leroy Breedlove, preceded him in death.
    He is survived by his children, Lynn and Jeff Brady of Monroe; Dawn and Dusty Holmes of Monroe; grandchildren, Walker and Sawyer Brady; sister-in-law, Shirley Breedlove of Monroe; aunt and uncle, Larry and Dorothy Jones of Winder; and an aunt, Alice Breedlove of Monroe.
    Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29 at New Hope United Methodist Church of Between. The Rev. Thomas Arnold officiated with interment in the church cemetery.
    Arthur Bowick Funeral Home of Monroe was in charge of arrangements.

Alice Martin Freeman
    Alice Martin Freeman, 69, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Athens.
    She was born in Morgan County, April 15, 1938 to the late Leila Martin.
    She is survived by a son, Timothy Martin of Madison; grandchildren, Biaunca Brooks, Delicia Stephens, Quandarius Freeman and a special friend, Bennie Clay;
    A son Corey Freeman, a sister Liza Williams and brothers John Martin and Tommie Fuller preceded her in death.
    Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 30 at Lower Mosley Chapel Baptist Church, Rutledge with the Rev. G. C. Brown officiating. Interment was in Moses Chapel Church Cemetery.
    Flower attendants were Rosa Binion, April Bryant, Ruby Garrett, Eula Reid, Nikki Bryant, and Doris Elder. Casket attendants were Octavious Clarke, Landus Clark, Jarise Giles, Brian Williams, Jesse Harper, Cedric Garrett and Lee Smith Jr.
    Jones and Turner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mary Brady Powers
    Mary Brady Powers, 54, of Madison died Friday, March 28, 2008. She was born January 9, 1954 in Okinawa, Japan to Virgil and Yoshiko Brady. She moved to the Godfrey area eight years ago. She was self-employed, owning a cleaning service. She attended Now Life Church in Eatonton. Mrs. Powers enjoyed working with her hands, especially sewing and other crafts.
    She is survived by two sons, Brian Powers and Amanda of Eatonton and Eric Powers and Cari of Coeburn, Virginia; a sister, Evelyn Brady and five brothers, John Brady, Jim Brady, Virgil Brady, Mike Brady and David Brady; and three grandchildren, Dylan Powers, Jacquelynn Powers and Alyssa Powers.
    Funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Monday, March 31 at A. E. Carter Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held later in Norton, Virginia.
    A.E. Carter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
