Allegic to daylight savings? Takes time to get adjusted

I don’t know about you but I think that I must be allergic to the time change. I’ve always gotten right up with this time change. I did not want to get up on Sunday nor today. I guess that it takes time to get adjusted once more.
I’m sorry to hear about Jewell Alford falling recently. Lets hope that your soreness and bruises will go away soon Jewel.
Frieda White’s mother, Norma Parsons, is another lady that fell recently. She has been sore and bruised, using a wheelchair or walker. Mrs. Parsons, I pray for your strength and soon recovery.
Chuck Foster had tests at the Medical College of Georgia recently. Chuck we hope that your medicines will work really well.
The schools are out for intercession this week. Any students that need more help will be able to get it. That is good.
Leigh Ann Bell had a large stork shower for Christie Wood Oliver on Sunday. Close to 70 attended. They had good food and a good time. It was all but a family reunion and more. Christie is expecting in May.
The Grace Bible Church will have their singing on March 27. The youth will have an Easter program on the 16.
The Lake Oconee Baptist Chapel will have an egg hunt for the children on Saturday afternoon. An Easter program is being planned. You are invited.
Linda Kincaid visited us for a while on Sunday.
D. J. Jones of Greenville spent several days with James and Bettie Dyer.
The Buckhead Baptist Church is having their adult cantata on March 23 at the 11 a.m. service. The children will have their program that night. You are invited.
John and Gail Wade are looking for the family members during next weekend to celebrate Rebekah’s birthday. There will be a full house.
George and Laura Lohr had Gay and Adrian Ellis from Mississippi, Diane and Steve Brown, James and Shirley Poole, Horace and Yvonne Reeves, Miriam and Chuck Foster and Pam and G. W. Hendrix for lunch on Sunday.
Did we not have cold wind one day? It was so windy that I thought that we would have damage. We didn’t. Thank God.
Spring is a beautiful time of year with newness in growth of leaves, flowers and warmer temperatures. Personally I don’t like the hot weather now that I’m older yet it is all upon us.
After I mentioned in last week’s column about the fact that people with cats have fewer heart problems I was offered a cat. We haven’t had one in several years. But, no for now, no cats. Maybe one day. Thanks a lot!

The young lady from Athens that attended the University of North Carolina that was murdered was the granddaughter of a family that lived near my friend. The two murders were so sad. The one from Auburn University was from Marietta.
