Behind three goals from Frank DuBose, the Morgan County Bullpups soccer team came up with a big 5-2 win at Oglethorpe last Wednesday to even up their record to 1-1 on the young season.
"We played an outstanding game," said Pups Head Coach Mike House. "We really took care of the ball."
Aside from DuBose's scoring, the team also scored on shots from Elbert Orr and Hunter Moore, who led things off for with a score for the team's first goal of the season.
House said, as far as improvements go, he wants to see his fullback become better play makers.
"Overall, though," House said, "The team played well."
The Pups game originally slated for last Friday with St. Joseph's was cancelled due to rain. The team's next game is a road match-up with Athens Academy on March 19. They return home on March 21 when they will host Oconee.
